On Monday 18th October, the new N4 was officially opened by Taoiseach Micheál Martin. Omedia was delighted to have produced the promotional video for this key infrastructural project.
The completion of the new N4 dual carriageway between Collooney and Castlebaldwin means that there is now an unbroken stretch of 27km leading into Sligo. This will make the region easier to access, more appealing for investment and - most importantly - will make our roads safer for the public.
Let's not forget that the group who highlighted the dangers of the previous N4 did so after the loss of life of 30 people over the past three decades. Well done to the group for highlighting the need for this project over many years, and congratulations also to the teams at Sligo County Council and at Transport Infrastructure Ireland for the delivery of this project.
